Here at The BOC, we like to add something a little extra to your movie going experience. That's why we list some of our screenings as 'events'. To get a flavour of these special screenings, see below and if you have an idea of your own, let us know!
There are some films that make us want to get up dressed up, have a boogie and even break into song! These singalong and party screenings let you do just that.
Whether its a scary Horror movie or tearful Rom-com, sometimes its just nice to watch these films in a more cuddly, snugly environment. PJs are welcome (but completely optional) and feel free bring a blanket, duvet or a pillow to hide behind or for a little extra comfort!
At certain screenings we invite the writer, director or some of the actors to engage in a series of question and answers with our audience. These screenings are usually a little more expensive. Expect behind-the-scenes stories, anecdotes and plenty of laughter.
To give an added dimension to a screening we sometimes combine a movie with food, drink and even dance from it's cultural origin - a real sensual onslaught!
